2021 is drawing to an end. Whether it has been a year of discovery and possibility or a year of continued challenges related to the pandemic, or something in between, now is a fertile time to stop, take stock, reflect, and process the year. If you are ready to reflect, I have attached a year-end reflection tool below. If you are not ready to reflect on it, that is okay too. 2021 has been another year of living with uncertainty and unknowns, like 2020, and many of us are just worn out by it all. If that is how you are feeling, allow yourself to be where you are and don't push yourself to do something you think you "should".
The end of a year and the beginning of a new one provide an opportunity to stop, reflect, and think about the future (even if it is still a challenge to think about making new plans). Like last year, I have created a tool to help you reflect on the year and think ahead. I revised it again this year to fit 2021, a year of a continuing pandemic that we had hoped would wind down post vaccinations. I offer you access to it for free and encourage you to challenge yourself as you complete the steps. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
This newsletter comes to you with the understanding that each of you have had your own experience of 2021. So, use this information and reflection in whatever way works best for you.
Here's hoping you give yourself the space you need to rest and restore during this holiday time.
Wishing you a healthy and hopeful 2022.
Marti
